From the worship band to choir, handbells, special music, and the moments that happen in between, there are many ways music becomes part of who we are.
There is more than one way to make a joyful noise.
Music has always had a way of bringing people together. Sometimes it fills the room. Sometimes it creates a quiet moment. Sometimes it is carefully rehearsed, and sometimes it happens because someone picks up an instrument and starts playing.
Here, music is part of worship and part of the life that happens around it. People sing together, play together, learn together, and share their gifts in ways both planned and unexpected.

Whether you sing, play, or simply enjoy being part of the music, there are different ways to find your place.
Worship Band
The Good News at Nine worship band brings together vocalists and instrumentalists to lead contemporary worship. Different musical gifts come together to create the sound of the service.
Traditional Choir
The Traditional Choir sings for worship throughout the year and gives people an opportunity to learn, rehearse, sing, and make music together.
Handbells
Handbells bring another sound to Traditional Worship. Each musician has a different part, making listening and working together an important part of creating the music.
Special Music
Throughout the year, individuals and groups share musical gifts through special music. These moments can include vocalists, instrumentalists, small groups, seasonal music, and other expressions of creativity.
Music does not stay inside the sanctuary.
Some of our favorite musical moments happen outside of a regular worship service.
Music in unexpected places.
Music can happen at a gathering, during a special event, outside on a porch, or wherever people happen to come together. It does not always need a stage or a program. Sometimes all it takes is someone willing to share a gift.
Community Music
We support the Wesley Academy of Music, a community music program that gives students opportunities to learn and grow through music.
Supporting music education is one way we can encourage musical gifts throughout our wider community.
