First United Methodist Church of Frankfort
There are different ways to worship, different reasons people walk through the doors, and different things people are looking for on a Sunday morning.
Our two Sunday services have their own rhythms and personalities, but both make space to worship, connect, and be part of something bigger than ourselves.
Whether contemporary worship feels like home or you find yourself drawn to a more traditional rhythm, there's a place for you.
Bring your coffee. Bring your questions. Bring your whole self. Good News at Nine is a contemporary worship service with a worship band, contemporary music, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. It's a place to sing, connect, and come exactly as you are.
A familiar rhythm. A place to slow down and worship. Traditional Worship brings together the richness of traditional Christian worship, with congregational singing, choral music, scripture, prayer, and preaching. There is something meaningful about gathering together and sharing in the songs and traditions of the church.
On fifth Sundays, both worship communities come together for one combined service. We alternate between our two worship spaces, giving us the chance to worship somewhere different, see familiar faces, meet new ones, and experience the whole community gathered together.
One Sunday. One service. All of us.
Some people come for the music. Some come for the quiet. Some come because they need a place to belong. Some aren't quite sure why they're here yet.
Whether you're singing with a worship band, a choir, or the people sitting beside you, there's something powerful about finding your voice together.
Worship gives us space to pause, listen, reflect, and consider where faith meets our everyday lives.
Worship is something we do together. It's a chance to see familiar faces, meet someone new, and remember that we don't have to do life alone.
From the worship band at Good News at Nine to traditional choir and congregational singing, music gives us another way to worship, express our faith, and experience something together.
Explore MusicWorship is made possible by people who share their time, gifts, creativity, and love of music with our community.
